The group of diverse learners were a mix of senior management, academic professionals, and administrative members of staff from various centres in Berlin.
The 5-day programme provided learners with an opportunity to improve their English language with regards to grammar and listening skills, learn new vocabulary and expand their speaking techniques. The programme generally covered the topic of culture, with a focus on intercultural communication and the Maltese context. Classroom tasks were linked with suggested afternoon activities and places to visit after morning lessons. Sessions included individual, pair and group work with activities, discussions and individual attention.
Participants enjoyed the glorious sunny weather during their stay and visited Valletta, the three cities (Vittoriosa, Cospicua and Senglea), Mdina and Rabat. They could enjoy a taste of the Maltese Carnival, and they also saw how traditional glass blowing is made in Malta. All participants were happy to recommend this programme from Malta Business School to their colleagues and we are looking forward to strengthening our relationship with EuroAkademie.
