Get Qualified Scheme
Malta Business School’s accredited programmes are eligible for funding under the Malta Enterprise Get Qualified scheme.
Get Qualified is an initiative that supports the personal development of individuals for the achievement of qualifications and certifications required by industry. The incentive is applicable for individuals who are self-funded and who are following a course of studies leading to a certification, diploma, degree or post-graduate degree courses. Upon completion of the programme, you will be able to recover up to 70% of expenses on both the registration and tuition fee.
Investing in Skills Scheme
The Training Costs of the Malta Business School’s short courses and the Trainee Wage Costs can be subsidised up to 70% through the Investing in Skills Scheme.
The aim of the programme is to promote the training of persons actively participating in the Maltese Labour Market to increase productivity and enhance adaptability.
Applications must be received by the Investing in Skills Unit at least three weeks (twenty one calendar days) before the commencement date of training.
The following co-financing rate will be applied on the total eligible costs:
Number of employees exceeds 250
Number of employees not exceeding 250 persons and Annual Turnover not exceeding €50m and/or Annual Balance Sheet Total not exceeding €43m
Number of employees fewer than 50 persons and Annual Turnover and/or Annual Balance Sheet Total not exceeding €10m
Number of employees less than 10 persons and Annual Balance Sheet total not exceeding € 2m
Training Pays Scheme
Malta Business School’s accredited programmes are also eligible for funding under the Training Pays Scheme which forms part of the ESF.01.001 – Training for Employment Project and aims to assist individuals in developing and/or improving their skills by participating in further off-the-job training.
The scheme offers assistance in the form of a refund to aid participants with costs relating to training. This refund will be awarded to the individual (trainee) after successful completion of his/her training.
