Good afternoon,
First of all I would like to say how much I enjoyed our first session together. Thank you for participating and contributing to make the session interesting and fun.
As promised I shall be uploading the following documents by the end of today.
• The Session’s slides
• The Mentorship Meetings record template
• The Learning Resources document
• The Assessment Brief
I strongly recommend that you familiarise yourselves well with these documents, especially the latter two.
To recapitulate Workshop 1, you should start searching for a Mentor as soon as possible. Once found and gained their willingness to act as your mentor, please upload their CV (or detailed LinkedIn profile) on Journey by the 12th August 2024 for approval from our end. If you are sending us the LinkedIn profile, do not upload a link, but download the profile and upload it. Please do not hold any meetings with your mentor before you receive our approval.
You should also start gathering information to construct your portfolio. Please remember that you have to submit your portfolio by the 12th of October 2024.
Refer to the Learning Resources document and the Assessment Brief for further information regarding the conducting of the Mentorship Meetings as well as the construction of your Portfolio.
Do not forget that you have the option of asking for a 15 minute, one-to-one, drop-in session on Mondays and Thursdays between 04:30 and 17:45 to discuss any issues you may have relating to this module. To book a drop-in session, please send me an email at [email protected] . Drop-in sessions will be allocated on a first come-first served basis and shall be held via Teams.
We shall meet for our second workshop on the 24th of August with the following agenda.
• A brief catch-up on your progress following Workshop 1
• Reflective practices and the writing of Reflective Journals
• An introduction to the Presentation that is to be presented during Workshop 3 on the 12th of October.
Best regards
Odilon
