Malta Business School and Henley Business School Malta Host MSc in International HRM learners from Henley Business School (UK).

Between the 17th and 19th April 2023 Malta Business School and Henley Business School – Malta hosted a group of MSc in International HRM learners from Henley Business School (UK). The visit incorporated a consultancy style challenge, based on a company visit to Express Trailers Ltd. This was hosted by the Senior Manager of Import-Export Operations Rosanne Calleja (a Henley Executive MBA alumnus), Senior Human Resources Manager Nicole Vella, and the Assistant Manager of Import-Export Operations Martina Vella.

While at Malta Business School the students were briefed by Christine Caruana, also a Henley Executive MBA alumnus, about staff recruitment and retention challenges in Malta. The learners delivered presentations on the challenge of implementing a performance management process, and the current issues pertaining to local recruitment and retention. In the Henley tradition of bringing business to life, practical recommendations and suggestions were put forward. This part of their visit was led by Associate Professor at Henley Business School Dr. Liz Houldsworth, and Careers Coach & Consultant at Henley Business School Neelam Kaul. On their last evening in Malta, the learners enjoyed some time networking with Malta Business School guests and socializing during an enjoyable group dinner.

Malta Business School and Henley Business School – Malta look forward to our next collaboration with MSc International HRM learners.
