Induction Session for Diploma in Management Students

In March 2019, Malta Business School (MBS) gave a warm welcome to its largest cohort yet! This group is the school’s tenth intake who will be following the Diploma in Management and the Extended Diploma in Management programmes.

Following previous successes, we were eager to meet our new students who will be going through this learning journey with us. Our learners are all adults, coming from both the public and private sector and with different roles, all eager to apply the knowledge learnt at MBS to their workplace.

The Dean of Malta Business School, Mr. Lorenzo Mulè Stagno, welcomed the new intake with an opening speech. He provided the students with an overview of the units which will be covered in both the Diploma and Extended Diploma in Management. Lorenzo also highlighted the importance of continuous education by making use of digital resources.

Ms. Chaienne Wellman also delivered an introductory talk where she provided significant information with the aim to equip the new students with the necessary academic guidelines required to have a smooth journey at MBS.

Ending the session on a fun note, the students participated in a number of ice-breaker activities in order for them to get to know their fellow classmates better.

To maintain our promise of customer care, students are split in two classes to ensure that individual attention is guaranteed. Students will also have further opportunities to carry out group discussions amongst other interactive activities to ensure that the programme retains its practical nature.

On behalf of MBS staff we warmly wish all our students every success in their studies.
