Ing. Norman Zammit is Executive Director for Business Strategy, Risk and Corporate Services at Enemalta plc, where he contributes to the organisation’s strategic planning, corporate governance, risk management and performance oversight. His professional expertise combines electrical and building services engineering with project delivery, facilities management and business leadership.

A warranted electrical engineer, he holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Honours) from the University of Malta, an MSc in Building Services Engineering from Brunel University, and an MBA from the University of Chester.

His career spans more than three decades and includes major projects and senior appointments in Malta and internationally. His experience encompasses Mater Dei Hospital, Hilton Malta and Portomaso Tower, as well as professional assignments in Sudan, Russia and Libya. He has also held senior management positions at SmartCity Malta and Tigné Point.

Ing. Zammit has made a longstanding contribution to the development of the engineering profession in Malta. He served as an elected member of the Engineering Board and as General Secretary of the Chamber of Engineers from 1998 to 2002, and subsequently as President of the Chamber of Engineers from 2014 to 2019. More recently, he has once again been elected to serve on the Engineering Board.
