Good morning

My apologies, I got the week muddled up. This message and download relates to this week.

Thank you all for a good session, filled with some memorable humour and lots of learning (I hope).

We’ve got one more topic that relate to the Assignment and Presentation to cover in class and it relates to A question of ethics. Attached to this post is a reading task with some follow up questions.

Please download this and complete all the tasks related to the reading text.
I think most of the questions are fairly easy to understand and follow. If you’re a little confused, as one of the others in your group. On page 7 there is a Vocabulary table that also practises taking a word and changing the ‘word class’ (we spoke about this yesterday when we were paraphrasing. Find any interesting new words (minimum 10) from the texts and complete this task.

Doing this all before the session means we’ll have more time for discussing some of the ideas in the text and the discussion questions (on page 5) and not spend any time rushing the reading. This will also mean we have time to cover other parts of the module.

This task is also part of your portfolio.

Dear all.

I’m really looking forward to our next session tomorrow, I hope all of you are as well. This week we’re going to start wrapping things up and making sure that you’re all as prepared as possible for your assessments.

Tomorrow we’re going to have a group discussion about Business Ethics, Money and Morals. Please make sure that you have all download the worksheet in the post above, read the texts, answered all the questions and made some notes in the discussion sections.

Then we’re going to look at and practise some specific areas of good Academic Writing.

After that, we’ll spend a little time talking about Saturday and your presentations. I’m asking you to decide amongst yourselves which group is presenting first, second etc.

Finally, I’m going to do my best to make sure you get a little time to work in your presentation groups before we end the session.

Don’t forget that we will also be looking at how you upload and submit your assessments on My Journey.

See you all tomorrow. Please try your best not to be absent for this session and next week’s session.
