Dear all
I really hope you found yesterday’s session (No. 3 / 23/10/24) interesting, engaging and useful. I’m sure by now, you’re all starting to think more clearly about your written assignment. Remember, I truly believe spending some time planning and outlining your essay, is time well spent and will really help you to keep your essay focused on the topic.
I’ve uploaded the short video we watched during the session and a second one which looks a little deeper at the kinds of things you can add to your plan as you move forward.
I have also uploaded a word version of an assignment ‘cover page’ with all the information that you need to include.
Looking forward, in the next few sessions we’ll be looking at, How to add evidence from your research into your essay, the kind of academic language you should be using and finally we’ll spend some time on proofreading and editing your essay before you submit it.
I really enjoyed the session yesterday. You are always so enthusiastic and motivated. When you’re in groups and breakout rooms you are all so engaged and willing to share your thoughts and ideas. Well done!
