Zabbar, sounds amazing. I’ll have to plan a visit soon. Malta has some beautiful old buildings and homes. It was one of the first things I noticed. It is sad to see so many of them in disrepair and left vacant. With a growing population and prices to buy a new home there must be something that can be done. Is it really cheaper to pull something down and build new?
It is interesting that you bring up the idea of ‘old’ trades, cobbling and carpentry. Do you think these are sustainable and viable options for young people to be learning nowadays?
