This workshop is spilt into 3 parts, all delivered on the same day. These are broken down below:

Session 1: Understanding HR Fundamentals

• Reviewing the role of HR management within organisations and alignment with organisational goals.
• Overviewing of core HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, work environment, talent and performance management.
• Describing HR policies and procedures that support compliance and promote equity, diversity and inclusion.

Session 2: Understanding Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution

• Fostering a positive organisational culture and ensuring positive employee relations.
• Identifying common workplace challenges and conflicts such as communication issues and performance problems.
• Explaining strategies to manage workplace conflicts including active listening, mediation and conflict resolution techniques.

Session 3: Workforce Planning and Succession Planning

• Understanding the importance and benefits of workforce planning
• Describing employee life cycle – recruitment, onboarding, development and exit
• Understanding of succession planning importance for organisational sustainability and continuity
• Exploring succession planning strategies and frameworks

Certification

A Certificate of Attendance will be provided after completion of the workshop.

This course is aimed at those who are responsible for others, on top of their long to-do list, who would like practical tools and techniques that can be used to engage and motivate teams.
