This micro-credential builds on foundational entrepreneurial knowledge, focusing on the practical skills required to lead, develop, and grow business initiatives. Learners will strengthen their ability to manage teams, engage stakeholders, and bring ideas to market, while developing key competencies in communication, negotiation, and digital tools. The course emphasises sustainability, strategic thinking, and personal branding in today’s dynamic business environment.

  • Lead teams and drive business initiatives to market
    Explore team development models such as Tuckman, Belbin, and Lencioni, and learn how to effectively organise, manage, and motivate teams to deliver successful business outcomes.
  • Leverage digital tools and build a strong personal brand
    Assess and apply a range of information and communication technologies to enhance business performance, while developing and managing your personal brand in a professional context.
  • Engage stakeholders and support sustainable business strategies
    Identify and evaluate stakeholders using tools such as power-interest grids, and design business initiatives that align with sustainability goals, including social and environmental responsibility.
  • Develop negotiation, communication, and networking skills
    Apply negotiation and persuasion techniques to achieve win-win outcomes, communicate business opportunities effectively to different audiences, and build strategic networks to support growth.

This follows from Entrepreneurship 1, and prepares the learner for the challenges of the leadership and managerial functions required in the starting and growing of an organisation, covering business concepts such as the business life cycle, entrepreneurial financial management, human resource management, ethics and social responsibility, the application of business sustainability, use of technology and the importance of networking.

  • The role and application of negotiation and persuasion skills
