Anna Maria Darmanin
Anna Maria Darmanin currently holds the position of Secretary General and Director of the European Tugowners Association. Between 2004 and 2015, she represented Malta on the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), she was elected Vice President of this institution for the period 2010 to 2013. She has also been an entrapreneur where she was the owner and director of Salana Sailing, an RYA sailing school and charter company, and owner and director of Santucci & Brown International and related sister companies for 7 years. She also held a number of other posts such as a Director on the Board of the Employment, Chairperson of MedEcology and Vice President at the Foundation for Women Entrepreneurs Malta. Anna Maria Darmanin works as a freelance consultant with a selected number of organisations in Europe and has held a number of prominent tutoring and lecturing positions. These include having been a visiting lecturer at the University of Malta and an accredited tutor for the Maastricht School of Management and the Edinburgh Business School. She has conducted training, coaching, workshops and seminars worldwide. She is also a professional coach with a specialisation in life coaching. Anna Maria Darmanin has been a Henley approved tutor on the subject area of Managing People since 2009. She holds a Master in Human Resource Development and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Communication Studies and Psychology, both obtained from the University of Malta.
