Nicholas Vassallo is currently Head of Business Strategy at PRA Construction Ltd, driving the company’s growth through strategic planning, operational excellence, and digital transformation initiatives. In this role, he leads multidisciplinary teams, mentors project managers, and implements commercial best practices that enhance financial and operational performance. Nicholas’s remit includes steering company-wide change, embedding sustainability into core operations, and championing talent development at all levels.

His background spans over a decade of international experience across the technology, infrastructure, and construction sectors. Prior to his current leadership role, Nicholas managed the delivery of major engineering projects in the United Kingdom, including the Crossrail (Elizabeth Line) and Victoria Line Upgrade, overseeing large teams and delivering complex systems to exacting standards. He has also held technical and management roles in electronics engineering and project delivery.

Nicholas’s academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) from the University of Malta, Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) status with the Association for Project Management, and he is currently pursuing an Executive MBA with Henley Business School. Outside work, Nicholas enjoys cooking for his family, physical training, and travelling, and is committed to lifelong learning and developing others’ potential.
