Henley Workshop: Managing People

Henley Malta started its first workshop of 2019 by welcoming back its newest MBA cohort. The programme members attended an insightful two-day workshop which focuses on the aspect of “Managing People” delivered by Ms. Anna Maria Darmanin.

During this intensive workshop session, programme members, critically analysed the issues and practices that support and hinder the management of people and performance in organisations.

This workshop covered key issues regarding the way individuals are managed in order to drive organisational performance. It addressed the respective roles of the HR function and line management in the processes of resourcing, performance management, reward and development as well as the theories and concepts that underpin the performance of the individual at work.

During the workshop, our cohort had the opportunity for networking, which continued to contribute to the informational value of the session.
