HHHmmm, I can remember working in China, early in 2001 and I first saw e-bikes. The batteries were so big, the bikes were so heavy and I felt so sorry for someone, who had run out of charge and was trying to peddle home. They have changed so much since then. I was super impressed in Almaty, Kazakhstan which has three different companies that have e-bike parked all over town and which work with an app on your phone. There were two other companies that has electric scooters. Almaty has lots of roads that have dedicated cycle and scooter lanes. This was great in Summer but, in winter it was another story.
This looks like a well planned and thought out piece of writing.
