Lovely to read about such a strong, long family heritage and ties to a specific town. I fully understand the frustration of transport in Malta and how important planning and having a good public transport infrastructure is. To be honest, I am really surprised at how well it does work. I know it’s not perfect and there’s always room for improvement but, I’m impressed!
I chose to live in Mosta, close to the Rotunda because of the number of busses, routes and bus stops. However, on a good morning or evening my journey is about 15-20 minutes but on a bad day it has taken over an hour 😣!
Some interesting reading on this comes from the UN SDGs, specifically goals 9 and 11.
