I’ve had my eyes on Malta for a long time as an option to live, work, wind down and (hopefully) retire in. For me, it had a lot to do with the incredible Mediterranean climate, coastline, and yes, the clean clear skies and fresh air.
Having lived in cities like Beijing, I know just how bad air quality caused by industry and transport can be. So I welcome any ideas to reduce car use. Although I don’t think I could cycle around much anymore, i absolutely loved renting an electric scooter 🛴 and zooming around Almaty, through the city and parks at 60!
